Delvina Souvenir Shop is a great place to go to buy traditional Albanian costumes, cloth, and other souvenirs–some of which seem like they should be in museums! There are also plates, knick-knacks, bags, and scarves. The staff is nice and speaks some English. They will help you search through the treasures and find something that strikes your fancy. Prices are reasonable.
Located: Right by the intersection of Bill Clinton Boulevard and Robert Doll street. The shop is on the second floor. The Delvina sign is yellow and black.
Walking Directions: Starting from U.S. Embassy Bravo gate, take a right to walk down the hill to the main road (Ahmet Krasniqi). When you get to the circle, keep to your right and walk on the overpass over the train tracks and take the first right (onto Tirana). At the first main road, take a left onto Garibaldi. Walk straight through the next intersection. When the road comes to a “T,” make a right and walk toward Mother Teresa Cathedral (on Xhorxh Bush). Take a right to go behind the church. Walk a few hundred meters. Pass Robert Doll Street intersection, then look up. Delvina is on the second floor; look for the Albanian costume in the window.
